Atlanta Arts Festival

Atlanta, GA -

This fall, Piedmont Park will welcome the debut of the Atlanta Arts Festival. Set to take place September 14, 15 and 16, the Atlanta Arts Festival is a professionally juried, fine arts exhibition dedicated to filling the void of a fall time arts Festival in the city of Atlanta.

“We are committed to delivering a quality experience for both the artist and patron,” says Julie Johnson-Tepp, Festival Director of the Atlanta Arts Festival. “It has been a dream of ours to bring a autumn arts experience to the city and this fall we are going to make that happen.”

September 14-16, 2008
Where: Piedmont Park

The Atlanta Arts Festival’s mission is to bring together outstanding artists from all over the country with the large and enthusiastic art buying community of the Atlanta area. AAF will feature 200 of the country’s finest painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metal craftsmen, glass blowers and more!

“Participants for this year’s Festival have already been juried and selected. Many of those selected do not often get to Atlanta so we are thrilled with the variety as well as artists new to the Atlanta market,” adds Tepp. “Because of this we are going to host a sneak preview Friday night of the event.”

Friday night’s three-hour sneak preview will be an experience of art, shopping, bites and beverages. Guests will be able to purchase a $17.50 ticket, which will not only allow them to preview the vast amount of art but also purchase before the general public Saturday and Sunday. Tickets will go on sale later this summer and more information will follow.
