Beaujolais Nouveau Festival
Atlanta, GA -It is that special time again that French American Chamber of Commerce – Atlanta Chapter gets ready to celebrate its Beaujolais Nouveau Festival XX.

Each year, the third Thursday of November at midnight, the young Beaujolais Nouveau wine is released to all four corners of the world and sparks a worldwide celebration of good wine, good food and good times! This year, the harvest looks to be very good. The grapes got their fill of sun in June and July (July 2006 in the Beaujolais was the hottest since 1959). To date the heath of the grapes is very satisfactory.
All this promises an excellent 2007 vintage, with harvest bans that are identical to 2005, which was quite an early ripening year. The potential for quality is very encouraging.
In celebration of this traditional worldwide event, The French American Chamber of Commerce Atlanta Chapter will organize its annual Beaujolais Nouveau Festival at Au pied de Cochon, Intercontinental Buckhead 3315 Peachtree Road NE Atlanta, GA 30326 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. More than 250 guests, most of them International Business Executives and Francophiles, are expected to share wine and food tasting, silent auctions and music.
