The Atlanta Home Show
September 27 - 30, 2007
Where: Georgia World Congress Center

Debbie Travis is a familiar face to television viewers around the world and recognized internationally as the "Queen of Paint." Travis will appear in Atlanta at the Spring Atlanta Home Show, March 23-26 at the Georgia World Congress Center.

Travis is an internationally recognized television personality, bestselling author, and syndicated columnist. Her television career began in 1995, when Debbie Travis' Painted House premiered. The show is part how-to, part travelogue, part confessional and part soap opera. Debbie comes face-to-face with every style of home and a diverse range of people. No challenge was too big from redoing a fire station to creating a toddler's playroom and everything in between.

She launched her new reality-based TV show, Debbie Travis' Facelift, across North America in 2003 with record-breaking ratings. Debbie offers decorating techniques that anyone can execute. Her goal is to demystify the art of home decoration. Through her unique combination of entertainment and education, she manages to make all of her projects easy and fun for viewers and readers alike.

"Decorating dilemmas are universal," says Debbie. "Whether you live in the U.S., Brazil, the U.K. or Japan, we all face the challenge of making our homes comfort zones, and the bigger challenge of doing it on a budget." She says the quickest and cheapest way to give a room a makeover is with a little paint and a lot of imagination!

Debbie has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show several times, as well as Live with Regis and Kelly. Winfrey says of Travis, "Paint is her passion. She can do things with paint that you've never seen before. She is the master of paint and plaster." End of Article
