Hot'lanta
Atlanta, GA -Gay communities from all over the country come together for a fun-filled weekend every year in Atlanta. This mid-summer fundraiser for Aids awareness and prevention has become one of the most enjoyable parties of the summer in the Southeast.
The weekend starts of with the Mr. and Mrs. Hotlanta contests followed each night by high-energy dance parties. The main event is on Saturday where thousands of people river raft the Chattahoochee.
"Shooting the Hootch" is a long-standing tradition with more adventuresome Atlantans, and they goad friends and acquaintances into joining them on the startling rapids every year.

Of course, throughout the festivities numerous events spotlight Aids and the programs being run designed to lessen its impact, and to keep a new generation from succumbing to the deadly disease.
Then the celebration is wrapped up with
a huge closing party with food and drink and of course great music.
An entire weekend of great times and all of it is for a super cause
come
out and enjoy the festivities!
