superlizzy1604 We decided to try this place out after reading several great reviews, and I have to say that they are ALL right! The drive makes you wonder where you are going, but when you get there its just such a comforting place! The scenery is wonderful and the food is AWESOME! I had the devil crabs and they were great! Also, we had to try the friend pickles and I am pleased to report they were just as good as everyone says! The only partly negative thing I have to say is that there was a large duck guarding the place. When we got there he was blocking the lot and when we left he was eying my leftovers and chased (yes CHASED) me and my leftovers! So enjoy the food, but beware of the crazy over-sized duck!

Mirandam This may not be the most upscale restaurant in the Panama City area but it is one of the best. The seafood is fresh and delicious and the staff is always very attentive. Whatever you do, don't leave without ordering the fried pickles

Gerdty The Boon Docks Restaurant is a great place to eat after a day on the beach.I've eaten there lots of times and each was great.Yes,kinda off the beaten path,but worth it. I recommend the fried pickles,they are a great snack.

bradleybunch This is by far the best place in town to get fresh, plain, fried seafood. It is not a fancy place, but clean and has a friendly staff. This was our second trip there, and both times were outstanding. The portions are huge, and the prices are reasonable (comparable to Red Lobster). The fried pickles are great, as well as the BEST hushpuppies I have ever had! We have had grouper, shrimp, scallops, burgers, and chicken. All were great, but the scallops and shrimp were terrific! I highly recommend this place! We also got to see a gator in the bay! GO EARLY!!!

MD007 My family just returned from vacation and ate here our second day the food was mediocre and the prices the same as everywhere else. Not worth the trouble of getting there
