The Tourist Network Chef Show Production
Team

Myron Hines is our Senior
Vice-President,
he’s been with the company since its inception in 1987 and he’s
been in the industry for 36 years…and counting! That record speaks
for itself! When it comes to lighting, shooting or editing…anything…he’s “the
man!”

Dawn Parsons is our Production
Resource Manager, and without her production would
come to a complete standstill! We rely on her to schedule all shoots
and edits both in and out of town. It’s a monstrous job and she
is able to apply her extraordinary talent for detail to keep the Tourist
Network running like a well-oiled machine, in spite of all the roadblocks
we inevitably put in her way! For four years, Dawn has managed “us” in
the most professional way and with smile. One thing is for sure…she
gets the job done and we are lucky to have her many, many skills!

Karl Brown is our Production
Supervisor. Karl has a BA from the University of Maryland
and was a finalist in the third season of “Project Greenlight,” Miramax
Film and Television’s breakout hit on Bravo! Karl is a master
of many of the “arts” including prosthetic makeup and costumes.
He was the Property Master for “Love 101,” a feature film
for Mindlight Films and oddly enough, enjoys choreographing stunts for
the stage. When not involved with compositing (the combining of visual
elements from separate sources into single images) or computer animation,
Karl shares his many talents with Beach TV and the Tourist Network.
In four short years, Karl has become one employee who truly is, indispensable!

Tamie L. Haithcock is our senior
videographer and editor. She won scholarships to Alabama Southern and Southern Union
in Alabama and spent two years at Auburn University furthering her Communications
Career in Radio, TV and Film. She worked for Cosmos Broadcasting (NBC)
as their senior audio technician; production supervisor and director
for Media General (ABC); Promotions manager for Woods Communications
(FOX) and for Delta Airlines as their Communications Representative.
Her diverse background has allowed her to master the language of visual
storytelling and having worked for “most” of the major networks
truly makes her flexible as a team player…but it is her sunny
disposition and supreme talent we appreciate most!

Shawn Horton has been with Beach TV for 7 years, originally as a Control Monitor and Digital Transcriber. In the last two years he has become one of our most talented editors and an expert on Adobe Premiere & Photoshop. Shawn’s edits continually show up on our Best of the Best each quarter and his interests are now leaning toward becoming one of our best videographers as well! We are quite sure anything is possible where Shawn is concerned and everyone agrees he is one of our very best assets!

Leslee Cameron is multi-talented and we fully take advantage of all her talents! She’s
been a reporter, producer, and assignment editor with 10 years experience!
Leslee has been with Beach TV and the Tourist Network for the last two
years, working as a videographer and editor before we realized she was
eager to step in front of the camera! She took the initiative and filmed
herself and quickly became one of our best anchors on the Local News…in
every market! Leslee spends her time writing, shooting, editing and
sitting in front of a camera and she does it ALL exceedingly well!

Garrett
Dollar is our youngest videographer and editor but that is not to say
he is inexperienced…quite the contrary! At an even younger age,
Garrett was the Morning Director for WMBB News 13 (ABC) here in Panama
City. For seven years he managed a production crew, created graphics
and shot photographs (to name a few), while directing the morning news
and maintaining the hard drives on the station’s editing machines
and playback servers. In 2005, Garrett joined the team at Beach TV and
the Tourist Network shooting, editing and co-producing content for Club
Hour and working with Local News and Margit’s Top 5. His understanding
of music and the use of drama in his edits add a unique and personal
perspective to our talented team of editors. He is highly skilled and
creative beyond his years-we hope he enjoys a long career with Beach
TV!

Stacy Bowick is one of our most experienced and talented videographers, editors and directors. Headquartered in Tourist Network Atlanta Studios, Stacy is probably best known for his quiet, gentle skill in guiding his subjects to deliver their very best performance in front of the camera. But, many of us who knew him growing up in Northwest Florida also remember him for his dazzling talent as Allstate Linebacker and Captain of his High School football team. Stacy has been shooting and editing for over 12 years and served as Senior Director of the NBC affiliate, WJHG, in Panama City Beach for 6 years. He has been with the Tourist Network for over 4 years and remains totally committed to team success.
