So it may be one of the best places to take the kids, but don’t let that award fool you… The main dining room at The Treasure Ship is beautiful and elegant. The back wall is constructed completely of glass offering amazing views of Grand Lagoon. It’s hard to go wrong with any of the seafood selections at the ship but if your waiter tells you Scamp is on the specials list- order it- it is rare to find Scamp, but when in season The Treasure Ship prepares it better than anyone else. Even the dinner rolls at this landmark are excellent- so take your appetite and your kids.

We go at least 2 times every time we come for a week. BEST SHRIMP and really good seafood period. We have always had good service, smells wonderful - not fishy like some seafood places. And they always have something going on for kids while you wait.

I recently ate at the Treasure Ship's Hooks Grill and Grog which is seafood with a Caribbean flair. The food was good and between my wife's Coconut Shrimp Trinidad and my Smoked Tuna Dip I'm not really sure which I liked better. The She-Crab soup was passable but not better than the She-Crab soup at Chef Imondi's. I found the prices to be what I would consider as reasonable ($50.00 inc grat for my wife and I), however I thought the mixed drinks were a little pricey and a bit watered down. Overall it is an experience I would repeat.

Treasure ship seems to be deteriorating in their service and food to wards the end of last season. I am looking forward to improvements in 2006.

I brought my kids here and it was their favorite place (well, here and Schooners, truth be told). The staff is so incredibly kid-friendly, you really feel like this is somewhere where the kids matter MOST, and you're just grateful. There's a balloon guy, hats, drinks in fun keepsake cups, coloring, entertainment, kid presentations, kid portions, kid desserts. Plus, it's all in a huge ship-shaped restaurant! You can't beat it, and you're kids will think you're the greatest for taking them here.

The staff is not friendly and the food is OVERPRICED!!! I much rather eat at Angelo's for a wonderful steak! People say it is kid-friendly..however, the "pirates" are NOT friendly.

This is a must for anyone with kids. We go here each time. Sometime twice. Food is really good and the atmosphere is nice.
