So you know how the sequal to a movie normally sucks? Or when locations have to move to a bigger space and it's never quite the same, Well the opposite happened here! The new Rock and bowl RULES! It's so cool, same great feeling, food and music. All the great things that made Rock and Bowl what it is still exsit! Ideal for families for bowling, and dancing to cajun music and listening to the best local music in town. You can't go wrong at Rock and Bowl! You know you are having fun with the hola hoops get brought out and next thing you are standing on the bar hula hooping! Pick a night that has your favorite type of music, and get ready for fun! This is an interactive place, no sitting around here! it only keeps getting better!

The first time I went to this place, I expected just bowling lanes housed in an old building with a great history. I got what I expected, and more. This place Rocked!!!!!!!!!!! Rock and Bowl is not only the name, it's a literal translation of what goes on in there. There were people bowling away, as she live band played and rocked the hosue, as the dance floor was packed. You won't find this anywhere else. Even if you don't bowl, you can rock. Drop by, and I promise you it will become a habit.

One of the most memorable times of my life was a weekend in New Orleans and the hours I spent learning to bowl, eating jambalaya and dancing my ass off at the Rock 'n Bowl. Truly the coolest place on EARTH! If you go to New Orleans and you miss this place, you will truly miss the REAL New Orleans! Go BOWLING!
