I walked into the Bombay Club to have a little brunch one Sunday morning and sat and listened to a great little combo playing blues while I waited for my momosa and food. The music was most enyoyable, and the musicians were both funny and talented. Once my food arrived, it was almost too pretty to eat, but that didn't stop me from eating it. It was surprisingly delicious, considering the surrounding was so luscious that I thought the food would be at best average. Now I don't drink too much nor too often, and I forgot as I sipped my momosa and accepted a glass of wine from one of the members from my group. Then I chose to have great Grey Goose screwdriver on top of those other drinks. Needless sto say that I was full of great food and beverage as I walked back to my apartment in the quarter. I thoroughly reccomend the Bombay Club for any one or combo of the food, drink and/or music. You can't go wrong with either.

Just a quick note about our romantic night at Bombay club- the deep booths were wonderful! We felt so special like no one else was around. The drinks and food along with the atmosphere I felt like I was in a movie, so cool!

I am a food snob, a wine snob and a music snob. OK, maybe I'm being hard on myself, BUT STILL - TRUST ME... I like really good stuff and this is REALLY GREAT stuff! Get the duck, order the Chateauneuf du pape and two martinis and enjoy the INCREDIBLE entertainment - something different every night, but always totally New Orleans and totally entertaining. The waiters are funny and charming and the whole experience is just what you come to New Orleans for.

Simply the perfect lounge, 2006-12-31

In another life, I want to come back as Susanne the lounge singer at The Bombay Club. You can't try to be someone like her; you just are. You wear a fitted green sequined gown like nobody's business. You sing like something silky being poured, and you flirt devilishly with everyone from a reunion of fraternity brothers to dentist and professor types, and make them feel like the sexiest guys on earth. You are a champion martini sipper. We can't all be Susanne, but we can drop by The Bombay Club and bask in the atmosphere of a lounge that describes what a lounge is.
