Arnaud's is a place where it's worth reading up on the history so you know how quintessentially New Orleans this place is, and you'll enjoy it all the more! Take for example the fact that it was opened by a self-proclaimed Count, that the attitude there has always been you simply can't be too decadent, and that quite possibly the wildest gal ever to romp through New Orleans was one of the subsequent owners of Arnaud's, Germaine. Legends abound, but she was quite the scandalous one! The food here takes Creole over the top, with unabashedly rich and decadent remoulade, oysters Bienville, crawfish in lobster sauce...whatever you decide on, this is one of the places where it's the real thing–––the original from which copies have sprung and inspired dishes all over the world that call themselves "New Orleans Style". Get New Orleans style from the plate to the flair here at Arnaud's.
