You would expect to find rich dark woods and nice big comfortable leather chairs and stools at a Steak House, and you won't be disappointed by dropping by at Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse. If you are not impressed by the beaty of the place, you will be completely seduced once you experience the service. Once the food arrives, you won't every eat a steak anywhere else. Now, I have to be honest with you. I really don't eat steak. I prefer a nice fish dish, but my wife and friends wouldn't stop talking about how great the steaks were. And since I think my wife's opinion is to be held high, I would have to state with conviction that the Steaks at Dickie Brennan's Steakhaouse is a must stop on your trip to New Orleans.

While in New Orleans it's hard to select where you want to eat because we have so many great restaurants. This is in my top 5 for a special meal that you want a Meaty meal, whether it's a birthday, anniversary, holiday or just a girls night out. They will treat you like royality and serve up the finest meats in town. Now they do have some seafood here, but if you want true Dickie Brennan's seafood go to the Bourbon House. But if you want lamb, pork chops that melt in your mouth or steaks cooked to perfection then this is the place you want. The crabcakes here are unlike any crabcakes in the city- they are lightly panned fired not deep fried and have a very light coating on them- They are really just the best crab meat lightly seasoned and lightly fired, rich but not heavy. they are just wonderful! big chuncks of blue crab not just fillers! Also I love the big booths, they just make you feel important!

The food was good, the seating and waiting 35 minutes for the food was unacceptable. Phil tries to smooth it over, but its hard to recover from this bad of a situatuion!!!
