New Year's Eve, 2010-01-07

After obtaining last minute tickets to see the jazz band Astral Project, my husband and I were looking for a place to have dinner. We called our concierge at the hotel. After being told either nothing was open, or there were no available reservations, she found the Embers. (I had requested an establishment with Prime Rib.) Imagine our delight to luck upon such a wonderful restaurant! From the green salad, to the melt in your mouth baked potato and the best prime rib, in sauce, I have ever eaten…it was a glorious experience. The Embers added a significant plus to a New Year's Eve not to be excelled and certainly never to be forgotten. Whenever we go back, we plan to make the Embers a tradition.
