Cagney's was opened by two guys with lots of determination, and guess what? They're still there. One of them, every single night. Both are named Dino, so feel free to walk in and say hello to a Dino. The reason for the success of this restaurant is that these guys have worked HARD, and have withstood the test of time by just being themselves. They really and truly appreciate the guests who return each year. They also emphasize service in a big, big way. One of the original seafood/steak houses in MB, Cagney's IS the kind of place chains strive to imitate. But chains don't have a Dino at the door.

When only the best (food & service) will do!, 2005-12-18

The food was excellent, timing flawless, just be prepared for sticker shock. But you should expect this if you're going to eat in one of the most upscale restaurants in Myrtle Beach! Prices are certainly not as bad as Morton's, but high for this area. Perfect portions, prepared with care like the chef himself was going to eat it! We had a large family dinner (14 people), and nobody was unhappy! That says loads (if you knew our crowd!). The one thing I would change (if was possible) would have been to cut back on the noise, but it was the other customers making all the racket! You can't fault the restaurant for this. We had to yell at our table to be heard above the roar of the crowd, and there's nothing management could have done about that. 10 out of 10 stars for food and service! 5 out of 10 stars for atmosphere (because of the noise, the decor is beautiful!).
