My husband and I went to the Melting Pot last night for our Anniversary and the service and the food was terrible. To make matters worse My husband found a hair in his food. When we told the manager he said he would take care of it. So we assumed he'd take care of it on the bill but, he didn't! When we did finally get our bill it was over 100 dollars and we had to cook our own food. I have been to alot of Melting Pot's but, this by far is the worst I have ever been to in my life!!

If you haven't been back recently, the Melting Pot has undergone a huge, complete renovation. They went for a sleeker, more contemporary color scheme. As for the fondue, the basis of the menu, there isn't much you can do to fondue, just keep doing it right. People who have come to expect consistency here are never disappointed. If you love the cheese fondue once, you'll love it again. And all the sauces are made fresh every day and each one is a little different. This is a great place for family dining–––what's more family style than sharing food out of the same pot? as well as for a romantic evening. And, you may not know it but they have one of the best wine lists in the Myrtle Beach area! Fondue is such a classic, but not something most people do for themselves (who keeps those fondue pots they get as a gift???) So when you're on vacation, go for it, and you'll definitely remember a fondue meal at Melting POt.

While on vacation took the family to the Melting Pot. Excellent service from the time you walk in the door. A caution.. unless you are really into fondue, you are better off just to listen to the choices and then ask your experienced waiter what he recommends. We did, and were not disappointed. While all the courses were excellent, the kids really loved the chocolate deserts. They wanted to go back the next night and just get the deserts again. Be sure to pace yourself between courses to enjoy the entire experience. The Melting Pot is a must do experience in Myrtle Beach.

I love the remodeling that was done. Completely different look. It was so much fun having dessert fondue right at the bar!

We had 5 in our group and had a blast! The service was great. The food was outstanding (we had "the works" where you get apps, salad, entree, and desert). We also enjoyed a few great bottles of champagne (can't remember the labels, but just ask the server for a recommendation - they are very knowledgeable). Overall a great experience. But make sure you have plenty of time to eat... it can be a looooong meal.

I have always been impressed with the melting pot. I've been there for romantic dinners, and I've been there with coworkers. It is appropriate for either. The food is great, the experience is fun.
