Thoroughbred's is a place where you can make it an evening. The bar with the giant fireplace for cocktails (fabulous martinis, I'm told), a variety of different dining rooms for a sense of intimate dining even though the restaurant is very large (my favorite is The Library room) and excellent steaks, like the coffee ribeye (yes, it's rubbed with coffee bean nuggets, try it!) The wine room is a fabulous showcase, and there are wonderful bottles, like the Silver Oak cabernet I enjoyed sip after heavenly sip. The service is excellent, one of those rare places where you can tell training has been stringent AND friendliness matters. Thoroughbreds "gets" what people want and need and deserve in a night out.

If you want to impress your date, take them here! When only the best will do, you can't go wrong here! I've eaten here a half-dozen times, and have never been dis-satisfied. It is expensive, but it's money well-spent. Unique, inventive dishes. Without hesitation, 10 out of 10 stars! Bon appetit!
