New Orleans is known for it's festivals, and this is where the name got started from! Jazzfest is held last week of April and First weekend of May- with over 12 stages of tops acts preforming at once it's almost too much! the food is fab, the crowd is even better! Everyone is so nice and helpful, even when we got rained on one year people were sharing there tarps and unbrella. Don't forget to bring your credit cards, cause the Art & crafts area is SUPER. Great way to support local artist and have your art work mailed home to you. You don't even need to care the stuff around with you, just have them send it to your house. It will change the way you look at festivals once you attend!
