My boyfriend and i stayed here at the Chateau the last three night of our stay in PCB! Well my boyfriend had a great idea of trying to sneak into the sun spree to stay with our friends every night to save a on of money... WRONG! We stayed i think 3 different places till we found Chateau. We had stayed one night and meet a ton of people from Cincinnati, (Were from Columbus.) It was great! Although we stayed in three different rooms altogether because we didn't have a reservation. But other than that we loved it!! We actually JUST booked our 2009 PCB trip and we picked the Chateau Motel. I'd definitely recommend this motel to everyone! Can't wait for Spring Break 2009!!! March 21st-28th!!!!!!!!!

My family and I always vacation in Panama City beach every year. The hotel we usually stayed at was closed down so we picked a hotel that seemed very nice on the internet, but left much to be desired, so we checked out and went to the Chateau. We explained our situation to the staff, they were very understanding and helpful, and they offered to show us several rooms before checking in to make sure that we were satisfied. We chose a room that looked over the pool and had a great view of the gulf!! My kids and I loved the pool area… you can even see the gulf from the pool!!! This will definitely be our new vacation spot in Panama City!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Chateau motel 4/05 and it was fabu!! The rooms were clean and roomy. Most rooms have private balconies that are oceanfront. The beach is wonderful with lots of onsite activities to do. I enjoyed parasailing and jet-skiing right outside my door. The Chateau was also a great bargain at only $100 a night!! We didn't need a reservation and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were about to stay at the Driftwood which looked run down like most of the other hotels on that end of Front Beach RD. The 15000 block of Front Beach RD. has little activities and few people....the Chateau is near Walmart, dining and entertainment. The only complaint I had about the Chateau is they charge you per call to use the phone...I would definitely stay at the Chateau again!!

We have been spending our summer vacation at the Chateau for eight years now. The staff is great and the rooms feel like home to me. The pool overlooks the beach so you can get the best of both while working on your great Florida tan! There is a little convenience store in the parking lot so you don't have to go far if you run out of supplies! Their website has a live webcam, so even when you are back home, you can feel like you are right there! Great location, great people, great fun! Thay also have some really good specials on thier rooms during the summer and the rates are incredible! I recommend the Chateau to everybody!

I was going to go the PCB last year without any reservations b/c I didn't want to reserve a place and find out it is in a bad location or was just plain trashy. The Chateau was suggested to me in the Tripsmarter forums so I took the chance. Good thing I did! We got a room that was literally right on the beach. Now, not all the rooms at the Chateau are right on the beach, but I can assure you that they are all footsteps from the beach. That isn't the best part though. The Chateau is footsteps from all kinds of great things in PCB. It is located right next to a huge waterpark and a few arcades. There are also many restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very friendly, including all cleaning staff and even the guy that was cleaning the sand was friendly and took time out of his day to talk to me about the machine he was using. (I did offer him a beer, but he had to refuse since he was working.) Overall, I think this is a great place to stay for anyone on a budget. The room rates were very affordable and location is almost perfect.
