Wrapping a corner near the French Market, this LPK feels hip but welcoming. Consignment art and bottles of herbed olive oil brighten the dark interior. French Quarter residents and the occasional tourist crowd the dining room, though the atmosphere remains surprisingly low-key.

Perfect lunch location when exploring in the french market! Located adjacent to the french market we stubled on this great pizza joint. WOW, it's much more than a pizza joint! With such a big party, I think we had a sampling of most of their dishes and all were superb! Cold beverages were awesome!!

This pizza kitchen is far more than it's name suggests. Marvelous selection of fresh made pizza's and equally good meal menu with organic fresh ingredients of the season. It won't hurt your budget and by all means...try the grilled artichokes!

Want yummy pizza without the guilt of eating pizza? Get over to the LA Pizza Kitchen in the French Quarter. They have whole wheat crust, free range chicken and lots of organic products. They also import in almost all of their cheeses, and let me tell you, you can taste the quality! They also have this cool machine that will let you order really nice wines by the glass, taste as though they just opened the bottle! Oh and my other favorite is the Artichoke ravoli, it is best if you start with the Grilled Artichokes- make it a themed meal!

I've been here twice and both times the food and service were great. I;ve had the calzone and pizza and recommend both! I've also hear they have great beer (home brew) but I've yet to try it. You can eat inside our outside.. and it's a greatplace for people watching as it's right across the street from the French Market.

I had the Applewood Smoked Bacon and Chives pizza here and it was great! Sit inside and enjoy the atmosphere or sit outside and enjoy the parade of Brad Pitt dopplegangers walking near the French Market! It was him, I swear.

This is New Orleans, the land of plenty when it comes to Creole and Cajun food. My husband and I are LOVERS of this type of food, but after four days we needed something else to tickle our palette. After reading reviews on TripSmarter.com, we discovered the Louisiana Pizza Kitchen and decided to give it a try. All we have to say is OH MY GOD!!!! This was by far some of the best pizza we have EVER tried! My husband ordered a simple pepperoni and sausage pizza and I a calzone. A side of marinara came with my calzone and we learned that the secret is in the sauce! We dipped not only the calzone but also the pizza in the sauce and loved it. (If you order only pizza, you will have to ask for a side of sauce.) My husband, the ferocious meat eater that he is, loved the sausage. Not only did he have sausage on the pizza but he ordered an appetizer with Italian, Alligator, and Andouille sausages that he thought was heaven. In our opinion the Louisiana Pizza Kitchen is a must have when we visit New Orleans. Give it a try and we are sure you will love it as much as we did!!!!

Once in awhile, nothing beats a pizza and a cold beer, and Louisiana Pizza Kitchen elevates that combination into a service from heaven. I love the whole wheat crusts! The veggie pizza is incredible, but the Greek is pretty neck in neck with it. In this food city, believe it that second rate pizza would not fly, or be as popular and crowded as LPK. It's loved for a reason. I'm told the other food is good too, but what can possibly beat pizza and beer???

Now, I have a picky palate, and cheese (believe it or not) is one of those things I just don't eat, so I don't eat pizza. So you might ask, "...why are you reviewing Louisianna Pizza Kitchen?" That's a fair question. The answer is because they have more than just pizza. My family dropped by after walking throught the French Market, and had lunch. While I ate the salmon served onver pasta, others ate chessey things. They hadn't completely cleaned their plates all weekend, until then. I didn't see one thing left on one plate. That's my testimony, and I'm sticking to it.

Take all the things you 'automatically' think of when you hear pizza joint, and toss 'em out the window ... oh, except for the really good stuff about pizza joints - keep those. Icy cold Chimay ales, wheat beers, whole wheat crust pizza, incredible salads and pasta... RIGHT on the edge of the French Market. This place is amazing, and the servers are so cool... the pizzas are just beyond anything you can imagine - hand made to order in woodfired grills. YUM
