This Hooters is pretty much like every other Hooters in the world, with bonus points for the Gulf-front view and a rotating staff of hot waitresses. Like all Hooters, though, your server tends to be either an extremely friendly and helpful girl, or someone who's clearly got a chip on her bared shoulder. The food is what you'd expect from the chain, with fresher (and pricier) oysters that other locations.

What can you say about Hooters? Great food, great prices, but this one is right on the beach. So combine a great bar, with excellent food, good prices, the beach, and of course the Hooter Girls make this particular Hooters a real winner. Since it is right on the beach it is a popular hangout for the Spring breakers, but locals also hang out for the mentions listed above. So drop by and catch a game, flirt with a Hooter's girl, or just grab a bite...does it get any better than this?

On a recent trip to Panama City Beach I had dinner at this Hooters and on the way out of town stopped for lunch at the Panama City location. Hooters is a good value in a vacation location because the food is a good value and usually decent if not spectacular. I ate on the deck here with a great view of the sunset- food was OK but got indifferent service at best. The downtown location was much friendlier with better food despite being crowded and busy.

My first visit to Hooters came from my first trip to Panama City Beach. The food was excellent, but the staff, although holding true to the restaurant's name, were a bit cool to deal with. She was efficient enough, but just seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. Perhaps a bad day, I don't know. Just diminished the atmosphere a bit.
