Last weekend we held a wedding rehearsal dinner at Rooftop. Since this was a destination wedding, I researched for a nice restaurant via the net. I can not begin to tell you how nice and considerate everyone was in this organization. The food and service was outstanding. We will definitely return to Rooftop and happily spread the word.

Since moving to the Keys, I've been to quite a few restaurants. Roof Top has captured by heart. The outstanding food, drinks & service make dining here a wonderful experience, time after time. The Crab Cake is truly one of the best I've ever taste tasted. It's nice to start off with a cocktail, listening to jazz, while overlooking the people below. Followed by a wonderful dinner and some dancing. The Roof Top should be on your list for making a special, memorable dining experience during your trip. Oh, Sunday Brunch is wonderful, too. I told you I love this place!

We had lunch here are last day in town - heard about the Key Lime Pie - no doubt in our minds that they make the best We also liked their grilled cuban sandwich and the lobster salad - not like New England lobster salad but a great variation!!! Oh - and the view on the deck is great as is the service

Recently, we went to Rooftop for a special occasion (can't remember what was so special about it, but ... that's another story); I usually dread big parties because the service can rarely keep up with a large group of rowdy, demanding prima donnas, and that's my usual company. ANYway, I digress... just wanted to complement Brenden Orr, the fabulous chef, and the whole team at Rooftop for taking such great care of us. From the champagne and appetizers to the BIG and wonderful red wines and awesome Hogfish with lump crab - to the INCREDIBLE desserts - all under a beautiful tropical sky with the branches of that great tree wrapped all around us... it was awesome! If you get a chance to go to Rooftop, TAKE IT!

It's upstairs (there's an elevator) in the part of town that's a busy port with a "circus" on the pier each day at sunset. It's surrounded by commotion...how could you know how special, removed and "one step above" the Rooftop Cafe is? Tennessee Williams ate here. It has old world class with a fresh, newly renovated face and a very tasty, very modern menu. Tables under a canopy of trees (but it's air-conditioned when it's hot, don't worry!) are so romantic. They make great panini for lunch, dinners with an island flavor and a Cuban and Caribbean touch, and it's simply a very special place for a very special lunch or dinner.

I love the Rooftop cafe. The food and service is always excellent. I had a delicious tuna dinner and a yummy dessert and went home very satisfied. I think the best seating is the outside upper deck, but to each his own. The jazz was flowing as smoothly as the drinks and conversation. What else do you need. Great food, good music, friends and chocolate. A perfect dining experience!
