My experience to this particular store in Destin was less than stellar. I was initially greeted by an older gentleman (employee) that seemed to think I did not check my firearm (I was not carrying) and followed me halfway through the store. Upon approaching the checkout register to purchase two soft canvas rifle cases I was asked by this same gentleman if I was attempting to sneak out with firearms. To this I replied that only if they bend at a 90 degree angle as I held up the "limp" cases. He retorted with a snide comment. Upon reaching the checkout counter the cashier did not seem to know that I was being overcharged on my purchase, nor had any managerial help to rectify the issue for 10 minutes as her manager and 5 other employees were out front smoking. It's sad to think that you can receive better customer service at Wal-Mart. Bass Pro Shops I'm voting with my feet and my pocketbook.

If you are an outdoors person this is the place, my family loves to fish... but fishing in the sea is a litte different than in fresh water. They had everything, plus their employees actually knew what to use and how to use it! Great Store, Great Service

This is a great store! If your wife asks you if you want to go shopping with her at Destin Commons, you'll be a fool if you don't say yes. This store can keep you occupied for hours. Everything you ever wanted for fishing, boating, camping and hunting! A great place to do some Christmas shopping for anyone who is an outdoor enthusiast.
