Great prices, excellent service, and if you love Mexican food it doesn't get much better than this. This local restaurant has open seating, with a Latin staff. The feel is much the same as most Mexican restaurants with Latin favorites playing softly in the background and good wholesome food being served. The flavor profiles of the dishes are very good, and the portions large. My wife and I got away on less than twenty-five dollars so I rate it as an excellent value. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Great Food, Slow Service, 2007-08-12

This is one of those places that if you didn't hear about it from a friend, you probably wouldn't go in. But once you get past the unattractive outside of the building, the inside is very colorful, themed, and warming. A great selection of entrees on the menu- you'll probably spend about $1-$2 more per entree here than at the other Mexican restaurants in town, but to me, it's worth it for the food quality you get. Service sometimes is slow, especially during rush times. I give them a lot of credit though- last time I was in, even the owner of the place was waiting tables. Definitely give this a try. More Mexican inspired flavors here than you'll find at most Mexican restaurants.

If You're Hungry .. and Enjoy Flavor .. Don't Bother, 2007-06-22

Let me start by saying that this Restaurant "used" to be very good. We've lived here in PCB for years, and have been to Los Rancheros at least 3 dozen times, but the last 4 trips in a row have been completely horrible and we will not be going back. First of all, we always order the cheese dip as an appetizer and they've started serving what is basically watery cheese that has the consistency of milk and literally pours right off the chip... and not surprisingly the flavor is what you would expect from cheese-colored water. Their serving sizes have reduced dramatically and resemble what you would order from a child's menu, and the food's flavor has become bland and lacking any flavor other than pure tomato paste. The staff no longer speaks enough english to provide adequate service, and they've become curt and argumentative (the last time we were there, the manager wanted to argue with us that refried beans were not listed as a standard side dish for one of our orders, and would not even offer an apology when we actually "showed him his own menu" that stated this very clearly. I don't know if they're under new management or what, but they have taken a drastic downhill turn. So, if you're hungry and want Mexican Food with flavor - do your family a huge favor and look elsewhere.

Good Food - Great Prices, 2005-12-22

Whenever we can't decide where to go out to eat we always wind up going here. The kids love the nacho chips and salsa as soon as we get there as well as the kids menu. Beers are 2 for 1. Fajitas are good and resonably priced. If you'd want a sit down meal for fast food prices you can't beat it. Lastly, don't forget to order the fried ice cream for dessert. It'll feed a family of four for the price of a cone that you'd get next door in the Shoppes at Edgewater

We have driven past this place a thousand times, but since there was such a wait at the other establishments in the area, we landed here. It was delicious! Mind you, we could not understand a word anyone said, but it was authentic enough to make us come back. Service was good and the chips & salsa kept on coming. We'll be back.

Very affordable and very good. This place is a regular stop for us at lunch. Service sucks, but the good food and low rpices make up for it.
