It doesn't matter what time of day or night you walk in, Atkins Park is always filled with friendly faces on both sides of the bar! YOu can walk in not knowing a soul and leave with 20 new friends -- guess it's all part of that "Southern Hospitality" The food and libation scores a 10 as well! If you hadn't planned on going to the Highlands mkae a point to do it, and make a point to stop in here. I promise you'll be back!

This is one of my favorite spots is the VA Highlands to pop in a get a bite and a beer. They have a great pub menu, but you can also get a steak if you want. They have a great beer selection, which I love, and if the mood strikes you they serve more jager than other bar in GA!! This is a cool spot with a cool crowd...Check it out.

Atkins Park enjoys a colorful history as Atlanta's oldest continuously licensed tavern and we are grateful for the continued loyalty from the neighborhood. Whether you're looking for a great place to eat with the kids, weekend brunch, or a late night drink...Atkins Park has something to offer everybody. We offer the best family dining in the Highlands on the Atkins Park patio. Come and see for yourself… food served until 2:30am!It only makes sense that Atlanta's oldest restaurant (“Serving Atlanta Culture Since 1922”) would host a chef inspired by the great flavors of Atlanta. Chef Smith has worked with one of the city's masters of new southern cuisine, Scott Peacock (horseradish Grill, Watershed), as well as acclaimed chef Shaun Doty (MidCity Cuisine, Table 1280, Shaun's). Chef Smith has cooked at teh James Beard House, Share Our Strenghth's Taste of the Nation, and the American Liver Foundation's Flovor of the Atlanta. He teaches classes at Cook's Warehouse, the Viking Store and Whole Foods.

its true, this is the number one Jager spot in the Southeast! In addition to their great food and pub like atmosphere, this place serves up more Jager than most any other bar on the East coast. The highlands is the place for friends to gather for casual good times and great conversations, and Atkins is right in the heart of the fun!
