Great Steaks and Burgers, My kids loved it and for a family of 5 to eat for under $45.00 with food to take home. The best I guess the one reviewer actually was 12. I disagree with her findings. Lite is way wrong

There's nothing disagreeable about Scampy's, a local favorite for years now, other than the lack of adventurous choices on their menu. Think of it as a kind of Applebee's for the local crowd, with well-prepared steaks, seafood, and appetizers like the infamous giant fried onion. A good choice, but there are many superior in the area.

We had wonderful service for our dinner a few nights ago. Our server went out of his way to see that our children got their food quickly, since they were very hungry. Food was also the best seafood, I've had in years.

I also disagree with lite12. Scampy's is a very good restaurant. We had a lunch special of grilled grouper, and blackend shrimp. They came with three sides for about $8. Great meal, very clean, nice appearance, very good service. They even gave us a free piece of chocolate silk pie to split. We will definitely go back. Like most good places in PCB, they get very busy at meal time, expect a short wait if you go then.

Scampy's serves up some great "southern" lunches and dinners -- but you can get some terrific seafood as well! A cozy restaurant with truly reasonable prices! Kid friendly and just darn good food! Make it one of your eatin' stops while visiting PCB!

We were in PCB last November and ate at Scampy's for several meals. The food was very good, prices were good, friendly & helpful staff. We plan to go back again November 2005 and will definitely eat at Scampy's.
