Maybe you didn't have a best friend named Sarabeth when you were a kid. The one who gave you what she promised. Who didn't try to rip you off. Who always genuinely seemed happy to see you. Who was always there, steady and able to be counted on. Even if you did, she didn't bake pumpkin muffins, did she? This one does. Sarabeth's is the perfect neighborhood restaurant, that isn't only welcomign and charming, it's got really, solidly, deliciously, honestly great food. You will feel nurtured, taken care of, well fed without surprises, disappointments...things that can make a meal in a new place a bummer. I love the lemon ricotta pancakes and the shrimp and crabmeat cakes. If you're tired of being "entertained" or challenged in a restaurant, you will be so relieved to find Sarabeth's: it gives ya good food like a good friend should.

Don't miss Sarabeths in Key West! We sat outside on the Patio. It is a quaint garden setting. I had the Shrimp and Crap Cakes (the real thing, not imitation like we get in California). They are made with "Key West Shrimp" and Crab (not Krab). I also had the Calamari as an appetizer. The dipping sauce was incredible! The Service was great. We did not have to ask for anything, they were very attentive. My wife is a Vegetarian and she heard about the Macaroni and Cheese. She said it was one of the best cheese dishes she has had, and she has had alot. She has been a Vegetarian since she was 9 years old. We go to Key West 4 times a year and this restaurant has become our favorite place to eat!!!

WOW!! This restaurant was phenomenal, and MUST be tried. We enjoyed lunch so much, we went back for dinner that very same night! Do not miss the Tomato soup...sounds pedestrian, but this soup is nothing like you have ever had before. Everything was perfect with a warm, friendly staff that made the experience incredibly special

How lucky we were to find this neighborhood jewel. After too many expensive overdone meals we turned the corner after a local told us about it and found a beautiful, CLEAN, stylish cafe with a warm welcome, garden dining with real napkins and fresh uncomplicated food, not pricey and delicious.A real find.Who knew that off Duval was the place to go!!!
