The menu is full of simple, no fuss authentic Italian treats. Neapolitan Pizzas, in 22 varieties, cooked on two visible wood burning ovens in the center of the restaurant, are the eatery's award winners. Fried appetizers (Fritti means "fried" in Italian) like eggplant and roasted red pepper croquettes and the city's best fried mushrooms.

Great Pizza and atmosphere! Some of the the toppings are a little different than your average pizza joint, like fried calamari, but don't let that scare you. All of their pizza's are fantastic. I recommend ordering a few different types and sharing them at the table. For apps. you can't go wrong with the fried calamari. I think it is the best in town. And for dessert you have to get the "chocolate soup". They have a pretty good wine list, and if you don't find something you like you can ask to see the Sotto Sotto wine list next door and they will let you order off of that as well.

I love Fritti! Pizza was delish! Apps were delish! Atmosphere is super-cool. Lots of people there... was a very cool hangout. Service was wonderful and our waitress had great suggestions for us. This place has lots of character, wonderful food and nearly perfect service. I'd definitely recommend the following as winners: Apps: CALAMARI FRITTI Fried fresh squid with fresh lemon ARANCINI Sicilian risotto and sausage croquettes Pizza: SPECK E RUCOLA (Smoked prosciutto, smoked mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, arugula) SALAME PICCANTE (Spicy salame, black olives) CALZONE ALLA NAPOLETANA (Ricotta, mozzarella, salame, cotto ham) Dessert: Chocolate Soup (ciocolate zuppa or something like that) Cheescake
