Don't let the happy go lucky web Coffee Plantation web site fool ya. They have a pleasant, but tainted atmosphere. Coffee laced with harassment. This is a foreign owned establishment and the owners arrogant attitude certainly isn't representative of our community as a whole. If you intend to use their wifi, plan on making at least one purchase an hour or you will be rudely asked to leave. Even if you are NOT using their internet service, say you're studying or reading or chatting with a friend.....make the purchase or LEAVE. I witnessed the owner rudely tell a young lady she was using his shop as an office because she was there on her laptop writing for to0 long without making a purchase. Perhaps they should consider renting tables. Coffee shops are for relaxing, reading, writing, visiting, NOT rushing in and out. And being hassled for a $1. every few minutes....are you serious. Is the economy that bad? I suggest that you try Starbucks on Duval (FREE wifi), the Internet Cafe' on Eaton just off Duval (pay wifi) or one of the other Cafe's, there are plenty to choose from.
