I stumbled onto Hungry Howie's on the way to work. I saw that the sign had been changed from Pizza Shak (where I used to eat occasionally for about 30 years) to Hungry Howie's. I ordered a pizza and wings to be delivered later that night. The pizza was better than most, and the wings were too. The order-taker asked if I wanted Ranch or Blue Cheese with the wings. Many places give you Blue Cheese without asking. To me, wings absolutely must come with Ranch! It's MANDATORY! Whoever started putting Blue Cheese dressing with wings, anyhow??? Delivery was quick and the delivery person polite. The pizza could have been slightly hotter, but it was OK. The wings were very hot (temperature) and were "adequately spicy" if you like your wings on the hot side. (I like Tabasco sauce, and think Texas Pete tastes like nothing more than ketchup.) If you must order pizza delivery, and are tired of Domino's and Pizza Hut, give Hungry Howie's a try for something slightly different. I don't think you'll be disappointed. I'd order from them again.
