Our dishes are fresh and made to order with ingredients like shrimp, chicken, beef, and a variety of vegetables. Very resonable prices, great Asian food, and a very friendly staff make this family owned restaurant worth the short drive over the bridge.

I'm not a big fan of Chinese style food, which this isn't. It's light and tasty. The summer rolls rock.

We've eaten here 3 or 4 times and have been impressed every meal. The food is all really fresh and incredibly light. Vietnamese cuisine is nothing at all like the bad Chinese buffets (which I can't stand)... Vietnamese food truly is unique. I recommend the spring rolls (best anywhere!) the summer rolls with peanut sauce and No. 19 (it's grilled chicken served over greens with rice noodles and bamboo shoots, cucmuber, carrots and cilantro. add some house dressing and it's heaven!). If you are unsure ordering, ask the servers... they're very good at explaining the dish. And ignore how this place looks on the outside... it's a completely different world on the inside, especially when you get the food! Highly recommended!

Yes, they say Buddha sprang from a Lotus blossom. So why can't an exceptional Vietnamese restaurant spring right along a Panama City highway? Simple, pure, and true, this place will introduce your tastebuds to the beauty of Vietnamese cuisine: one of the healthiest, tastiest and most innovative in the world.

Wonderful Vietnamese Food, 2005-10-20

Those of us in Panama City that have a taste for excellent Asian food with an exotic twist have been blessed with the goodness of Lotus...the brand new Vietnamese Restaurant off of HWY 98 just east of the Hathaway bridge. I ate there Saturday night for their Grand Opening and was delighted with every bite I took. The Lotus Spring Rolls and Lemon Grass Chicken were truly the best Asian food I've had in a looooooong time. I also tasted the ginger chicken, which was equally delicious with a little bit less of the spice of the lemon grass. I was tempted to try one of the many soups, seafood stir fry dishes or the fish cakes, but I know I'll be back this week.. The restaurant is family owned and operated and everything is fresh and made to order. The friendly servers are very helpful in describing the flavors of the different dishes as well as explaining the Vietnamese tradition of dining. AND the very best part of Lotus is how inexpensive it is. I was shocked at how low our bill was after having an entire meal including appetizers, entrees, hot tea and coffee...less than $20!!!
