We ordered two philly cheese steaks to go last night via the internet and picked them up at the Roosevelt location - Overseas Market. Fantastic. Great portion size, I could eat the whole thing but it was too large for Mel. So lucky for me I polished it off. I think I have commented on their pizza before it was excellent. Highly recommend this place. They deliver,you can eat it or pick up like we did! Cool website you can check it out!

every chance i get i go to Mr. Z's because they have the best cheesesteaks and the freshest pizza and fries I've ever had in key west. I recommend Mr. Z's to everyone, locals and visitors alike.

The staff is rude and the food is bland. Whoever is rating this place highly obviously works there. We went at midnight (they are open until four) and found a rude staff that does not wear gloves or wash their hands between handling trash, cleaning, preparing food, or breaking bread with their bare hands. Not only did they use dirty hands to prepare our food, the bread on our philly was very stale and the pizza was worse than off-brand frozen. If you are hungry late night just go to Denny's a few blocks down, it's worth it.

The subject line says it all. It is the BEST cheesesteak south of Philly. (I won't even get into the fact the pizza is great too.) Jokes aside, there have been several nights where I will eat 2(two) cheesesteaks throughout the course of crawling up and down Duval Street. They are delicious! I had been to Key West a couple of times and always discovered an amazing aroma near Southard...and then a local shared with me the secret scent was Mr. Z's! I have been a loyal customer ever since. There are some great restaurants in Key West - some of the best seafood preparations you will find in the country, BUT save one meal for an incredible pizza pie and a few cheesesteaks...LOAD mine with mushrooms as well!

It's great to know that you can leave Philly and still get a great cheese steak. During my stay in key west I visited Mr.Z's several times. Everything on the menu was great. My favorate was a cheese steak both cheeses with. The cheese steak was like heaven on a roll. If you intend to visit Key West I highly suggest making the trip to Mr.Z's.

I live in Key West and I must say...that even after having dinner at Antonia's or Michael's....my friends and I ALWAYS end up at Mr. Z's for a Philly Cheese Steak! The Pizza is great, too! I've been to NYC and Philly..and this is THE REAL DEAL! The restaurant is on Southard just 1/4 block off Duval...you can really smell the food from Duval Street. PUT THIS ON YOUR LIST OF PLACES TO EAT IN KEY WEST!!! When my friends visit..they'll even eat there twice in one day!!! Oh..it very, very affordable, too.
