I used to work literally next door to this BBQ restaurant so I've had my share of lunches. The BBQ meat (pork, beef, or chicken) is smoked well, then you add your choice of sweet, mild, or hot signature house sauces. I've always enjoyed a good BBQ and Smitty's offers an excellent slow roast. The decor is around an airplane motif and is very interesting. The owner and staff are a real joy to be around. Can't go wrong with either lunch or dinner at Smitty's!

Smiddy's has arguably the best salad bar in town... great, fresh ingredients... and of course, it's a BBQ place, so they obviously get props on their regular menu too. There have been times that I've gone to the restaurant only to find that they're sold out of one or more types of their meat... I've regularly not been able to get pulled pork, which I feel is s staple of a BBQ joint. I guess it shows that they do a good business, but sometimes don't make enough food for thier customers. Service is also iffy sometimes... there's always a lot of wait staff around, but sometimes you wait what seems like forever at the front door (I've been at the front of a line that's wrapped all the way around the building and nobody's greeted us, when there's plenty of seats open) Overall it's good, definitly worth a try, see what you think for yourself.
