This is by far the worst place to eat in the keys. It is an insect infested haven of poor service and bad food. Took my family, all of us were HIGHLY dissapointed. They are still trying to hang their hat on a 20 year old food network piece... i believe that a health inspector needs to pay a visit. If you are inclined to eat out of a dumpster then this place is for you... if not, keep on driving and save yourself a day or two of being sick.

And, you gotta have that to go with Conch - conch every way you can imagine and all stirred together with the most authentic locally flavored decor, service, attitude and goodness. I LOVE this place. It's been here 30 years, and the owner is a music lover who roams 'round the world to music festivals (hasn't missed a New Orleans Jazz Fest in 18 years - soon to be 19) but always comes home to cook breakfast for his locals on the weekends and pound the heck out of the conch for dinner - this is homemade homespun fabulosity at it's finest! Cool. (and did I mention realllly cold beer - and a fullll bar!?)
