You absolutely can not leave the city of New Orleans without having the fried softshell crab! I've had these all over the south, growing up along the coast, but ACME is the best I've ever had. I can't wait to go back and have another. It's definitely worth the wait, the line moves fairly quickly.

It's all true what you see on TV about ACME. It's been around forever, and they do have the best local oysters. I know many people love Drago's grill oysters, well I have tasted everyone in the city of New Orleans, and ACME is my favorite- HANDS DOWN. Not only do I LOVE thier grilled oysters, but LOVE thier shrimp po-boys. Oh just thinking about it makes me hungry. It is an instutition in New Orleans, and SO much fun on games days. All kinds of sports fan fill the place it's just flat out exciting. It's worth the wait, get their early or late in afternoon... but go to ACME!
