After we went to see Santa Claus in Pier Park the weekend after Thanksgiving, we were in the mood for something different. A beer garden sounded perfect and it was. The Hefe Weizen was chilled just right and the heavy glass stein was fun to drink out of. We ordered some apps and listened to some festive German music. A great addition to Pier Park.

The original Hofbrau Beer Garden calls home Munchen we would call it Munich- but how you want to say it doesn’t really matter, all you need to know is how much fun you will have if you go. I've been to the flagship location in Germany and didn't believe that the one here could compare. But, it is just as much fun, or even more- since everyone here speaks English… well, maybe not after sampling all the different types of beer. The interior and the menu are exactly like you would find in Munich. It’s a great way to experience a different culture without getting on a plane for 9 hours.
