Not your typical New Orleans restaurant—Jacques-Imo's Cafe has become one of the hottest food tickets in town, known for its eclectic mix of Creole and Cajun specialties, at reasonable prices—its irrepressible owner/chef, Jacques Leonardi, who holds court each night dressed in a white chef's jacket, shorts and Birkenstock clogs.

Get ready to wait, but you know the old saying "good things come to those who wait" This is the place to WAIT FOR! OMG, so many favorites to many to list, but you got try this place. Get there early for a shorter wait, and then you can shop in the area. Also don't eat all day cause the portions are HUGE and you will want to eat every bite! Oh and the desserts are over sized too! grab a partner and get over there- if you can try his po boy shop on Jefferson Ave- Crabby Jacks- that is a Duck Po Boy you will DREAM about!!
