Atmosphere, FOOD, wine, pirates ship, alligators, snapping turtles and did I say atmosphere? Have tried fondue at many different places, but this is always my fav. The jazz is always worth the extra fee to enjoy the ambiance. Whenever in Georgia(or closer to Atlanta) I always try to make it here. 10*'s just doesn't quite do it. Maybe google *'s!:-)

Quite a combonation I know, but a very cool and unique atmosphere. Walk in the door and you are transported to another place and time. You can dine aboard a pirate ship surrounded by real, live crocodiles! The fondue here is good and the live jazz is a nice treat. The wime list is pretty good, nothing too fancy though. If you are looking for a unique Atlanta dining experience, don't miss this one. The kids will love it!

Live music daily; Live jazz 6 nights. Jazz aboard a pirate ship tied to a european wharf within which are live crocodiles. A group of us went there for a party and had a wonderful time. Our food service was excellent with well defined "best practices" for fondue fun and safety followed by very prompt food delivery - thank you Lindsay. The establishment is very unique and full of character, just like its owner Dante. He's a salty old-dog whose got a story from every port he has ever been and pictures on the wall to prove it. This is the place to take someone special if you want to experience an intimate, romantic dinner! The feeling of being on a ship really makes the dining experience all the more fun. Dinner by candlelight,;morsels of food and fruit dipped in savory saucesand chocolate; a glass of wine; and a live jazz band- you will defintely impress your date with this place! Remember to make reservations and I suggest sitting downstairs near the band!

Dante's is almost a place that can't be described but must be experienced. To start with it is Huge! Many tables, multiple levels, little nooks and corners. Just entering the place is an adventure. Once seated you can't help but look around and take it all in. Are you on a ship or are you at a crocodile retreat! Adding to the ambience is the wonderful food and drinks. We had fondue and chocolates, just what Dande recommended. Dande was a Navy Seal and he and I spent quite a while talking about our military experiences. A most enjoyable evening. I highly recommend added a trip to Dante's to your to do list.
