Jake's is the best Ice Cream in the city and maybe the whole country. Jake has won award after award for his original delicious recipies. From Brown Shugah Vanilla and Chocolate Slap Yo Mama, to Key Lime Piecream, (yes they chop up whole key lime pies and put it in the icecream,) and strawberry mimosa sorbet, you will enjoy every wonderful bite. The soup and sandwiches are yummy to munch for lunch or dinner. Jake's is a MUST-DO while visiting Atlanta.

Don’t leave Atlanta without first entering Jake’s. I was introduced to Jake’s a few years ago and now find it impossible to pass by Jake’s without stopping by. Some of my favorite Jake’s concoctions are the Chocolate Slap Yo Mama, Mexican Hot Chocolate and Devyn’s Animal Cracker (Chopped up pink and white iced animal cookies in sweet cream). Jake’s ice cream is the best because it has 18% butterfat- higher than any other ice cream. Jake’s also uses all natural ingredients and leaves the preservatives out of the mix.

Cool, laid-back setting. Almost like a java cafe. Great sandwhiches and the best ice cream in the world! Try the Chocolate "slap yo momma it's so good" something or other... lol!!!
