There are lots of "rib-joints" around but this place takes its ribs very seriously and good, smoked, bar-b-q rib making is an art...AND it takes a very LONG time. It's time well spent at Sweet Racks and fortunately alll the time has passed before you get there...but only just, and when the ribs are gone...the ribs are gone! Quite simply, these are the best and perhaps just a little unusual ribs I've ever tasted. Another good thing is the long "smoling" process not only creates unbelievably tender ribs but most of the fat has dripped away leaving only the juicy and tender meat in its place. So, it makes me feel a little bit better about eating somethng that is perhaps "off" the healthy diet list...but when you taste these ribs, nothing else matters. There's no pomp and circumstance here, only GREAT ribs, and you can call ahead and pick them up if you like. The owner here is PROUD of his ribs and rightly so. I'll have another rack, please!
