The Arament museum is a pretty interesting place if you like aircraft which I definately do! I don't like it as much as the Naval Museum in Pensacola..but its pretty impressive.

This place is hard to miss if you are going to or from the Fort Walton Beach (VPS) airport from Destin via Fort Walton Beach. Wasn't until my third visit that I stopped and checked it out because I was headed to the airport to go home and had spare time on my hands. Glad I did. You don't have to be a military freak to enjoy being up close and personal with the huge planes dotting the outside of the property. You can take a self-guided tour and really be amazed. Inside has even more aircraft, weaponry (including the bomb that was dropped on Japan to end WWII), and many exhibits. Even if you only plan to spend a few minutes, check it out. You can always come back next time and spend more time once you see how big and interesting it is.
