I wrote in my review of Criolla's that 'if you are most comfortable in a loud roomful of tourists wearing Nascar t-shirts this may not be your cup of tea'. Fear not, Bayou Bill's is just down the road right on Hwy 98. This was our second visit in three years and this eatery is still very popular, hectic and loud. We were seated promptly at the late hour and a friendly server appeared quickly. I had the recommended grouper (they were out of the entry-level crab entree), my wife had shrimp and fish and The Princess had the child's portion of crab legs, which was large but also pricey. All of the food was fresh, plentiful and delicious. The hushpuppies are among the best I've had. Not inexpensive, but a good value. The Princess loved the small aquarium in front.
