When you're on 30A, park the car in Seaside and go to Bud & Alley's. I had their sweet potato fries with aioli the other day and WOW! Everyone knows of this place for its bar and elevated view of the Gulf of Mexico, but don't miss out on the food. It's excellent! Wine menu too! And, don't forget to check out the Pizza Bar and Taco Bar, also located in Seaside.

There are rumblings that this famous beach-side restaurant may close...and there are other rumblings that if it does it will open somewhere else! I suppose that puts my nerves to rest for this is one of my favorite spots but I say to everyone, don't miss it in its original location if time isn't on your side? It's right across the street, from downtown Seaside...and that means it's literally ON the beach! It's upstairs open-air bar is one of the most fantastic places to be on a sunny day on the Emerald Coast! You can see for miles and miles as you enjoy everything from Bloody Mary's and Pina Coladas to your favorite icy cold beers! Downstairs, the restaurant serves lunch (in season) and dinner and they've been doing it in a relaxed (and perfect) style for many years! This is the kind of place where you know right away that everybody knows what they're doing...and they do it with ease. It feels good to be in there and the staff know how to take good care of everyone, but best of all, the kitchen SHINES! We're talkin' real good food...not your average beach fare, but reall good, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented food. If you're in Panama City, the short ride there (less than 25 miles) is lots of fun and once you're there, I guarantee you'll never want to leave. Eat everything on the menu and tell 'em I said so!

You will walk into this restaurant and wish that you lived here. No, really. It has a view that will make you gasp. Everyone's at ease and happy and relaxed, and the food is great. It's like perching up in a lifeguard chair and looking out over a beach you command, with a margarita in your hand. STay and stay...enjoy it while you can
