This is the largest Rum Bar between Miami and Cuba! 80 foot bar, shaped like a boat, specializing in Rum - over 80 different brands of fum from all ovr the world! The Conch Republic Seafood waterfront building is fascinating, making the most of the historic location… materials salvaged from the Old Ice Plant and original docks are integrated throughout the restaurant. Even the menu is special to the Key West Bight waterfront - fresh seafood is still delivered daily to the docks from the waters surrounding Key West, and the chef creates tantalizing Florida and Caribbean dishes you simply will not find anywhere else.

We loved it! We got there early and got a table at the water and had fantastic paella, crab cakes and the best mojitos in Key West. Great live music and awesome views of the harbor. We will definately return on our next trip!

I think most locals, including myself, are at the "Conch Farm" about 5:30pm on Fridays. Great drink specials, cool rum drinks and the food is pretty good. They have an oyster appetizer w/spinach that is Yummy! We ALWAYS get two orders because one is not enough..as soon as a "new" person in the group takes you up on a bogus..."would you like to try one?"...that's it...the oysters are gone! You'll be glad you put in two orders because you could lose a friendship over them. Love the "Conch Farm" for Happy Hour and Sunday during the day. Good place to put on your list.

I found Conch Republic to be far better than my expectations. True, it's a tourist restaurant, but if you're visiting I think you'll find it to be interesting in atmosphere as well as preparing good food at good prices. Service was good too! It's a rather large restaurant and it's seemingly always busy.

Waterfront dining, open air (weather permitting), a nice friendly bar where the bartenders hustle. The Red Key shrimp appetizer is a must. All the meals I have had were very good, very fresh seafood, and the atmosphere is busy yet relaxing. Feels like you are with friends.

It's ok if you want to hang out with a bunch of tourists and drink a lot... the food's ok, but it's not one of the best on the Harbor Walk - other places are much more authentic "Key West" but... I think Spring Breakers would love it!
