Perhaps the best way to experience Shell Island is by boat. If you are not a boat owner, you can rent a pontoon boat from Aquatic Adventures or other boat rental companies. Since pontoon boats are made to hold larger groups you can split the costs with another family bringing the price down. Pack a cooler with a picnic to enjoy on this pristine island for a great day in the sun.
