One of the most famous and, without a doubt, most beloved, local legends, this beautiful little Italian restaurant has been a work of love for owners, Antonia and Philip Smith. While Duval Street and the rest of the island has gone through many changes over the years, Antonia’s, in true Italian style, remains a constant… it basks in a golden glow of timelessness… they still make their pasta each morning and hang it in the window to dry… the sauces are carefully tended… the wine cellar filled with wonderful treasures from the Old Country…

After 6 months in New Orleans, eating at some of the finest dining establishments in the world, I was filled with local pride as I slipped into my favorite booth at Antonia's and introduced our son and his new bride to our wonderful, classic, unbeatable, DELICIOUS, warm and welcoming Antonia's! Because they had visited us in New Orleans so often and were so impressed with the food and service in that great old city, we spent a lot of time talking about how remarkable it is that tiny little Key West has a restaurant like Antonia's that would measure up to the biggest and best ANYWHERE! It made our homecoming even sweeter! ... Hint: Yellow Tail Snapper in Menuire Sauce with pine nuts!

I can't say enough about Antonia's. The food and service are AMAZING. From the moment you are greeted when you walk in the door, to the time you sit at the bar having a fabulous martini (or two), to having one of the most incredible meals you will enjoy ANYWHERE, to the delicious wine, to the homemade cookies at the end...it's ALL divine. Dining at Antonia's is an experience. The osso buco is the best I have ever eaten..and folks...I love osso buco and I don't share it at Antonia's! It's that good! Truly, you should make a point to dine at Antonia's. Call for reservations because they are busy. You'll meet Chef and Owner Christopher Rounds: He is very delightful. He makes it a point to personally meet the guests and makes sure everyone enjoys their meal. I promise...once you go to Antonia's, you'll go there every time you are in Key West.

My wife and I ate here for our aniversary. It came highly recommended by the staff at our hotel. I can not say enough good about Antonia's. From the staff to the food and drinks. Outstanding is the best word. You will leave full.

Antonia's is energetic, boisterous, fun-loving and very, very great. People are literally magnetically drawn back to it: you want to be a regular. You want to walk back into that welcoming, pampering place and eat another plate of that pasta, or slow-cooked ossabucco or fresh catch of the day treated to chef's choice of light, Italian inspired sauces. This is a homecooking style place, fine right down to every detail, like the little homebaked cookies served with your check. It's a place where special memories and moments are just about guaranteed.

I had heard many good things about Antonia's but last night was our first experience. We loved the food, the service, and the people. The menu carried numerous offerings that all sounded too tempting to resist. Together, my wife and I coordinated so that we could taste from each other's selections. Lobster Bisque, Caesar's Salad, Veal Medalions, and Key West shrimp. Fantastic to say the least. The service was outstanding. I'd recommend to everyone. Even the cab driver had raised our expectations on the way there, and he had not exaggerated one bit.
