Yes all of the locals frequent The Banana Cafe' because they always turn out a fantastic meal.Plus you cannot beat the All Day Brunch, Resonable Prices and wonderful service. It is the first place I hit everytime I return and spend every morning or Brunch relaxing while reading the paper and catching up with old friends. The French Cuisine is on par with many large cities I have dined in globally.I love The Banana Cafe because they are always there and always consistent.

On any given day, that is for breakfast or lunch, Banana Cafe will be at least half filled with locals. Why? Because you will never find a brown leaf in your salad, or an unripe vegetable, or toast that isn't toasted or eggs that look funny or a serving that's a different size than last time. Banana Cafe is utterly consistent, and people trust it. They also have the BEST breakfast potatoes (little cubes, golden brown, seasoned with herbs...come on!) and perfect crepes and omelets, too. Try the chestnut puree crepe, trust me on this one. You will get hooked, no matter what you think you know about chestnuts (and it's okay if you know nothing, just try the chestnut crepe). Also delicious and perfect every time, the salmon bagel. Fresh, filling but not heavy, dependable. I eat here all the time. Bon Appetit!
