Possibly the most famous restaurant on the island these days. Richard's "very good" pancakes and Lobster Benedict are a great way to start your day. Lunch is awesome, with beautiful salads and sandwiches. Dinner is unforgettable outdoors or in. Great bar in the backyard. Probably one of the best breakfast's I've ever had. Lunch and dinner are nothing to sneeze at either. Sitting outside with the chickens and the cats is just part of the experience that you have to do at least once when you are in Key West.

We've been to Key West twice (going again this Spring) and Blue Heaven breakfast is a must! They always have an eggs benedict special, try the lobster or shrimp - superb! The food is great, but the atmosphere is what sets this place apart from the others. Outside dining amoung the trees and roosters, and a cat or 2. Just feels right :)

Just yesterday morning, I was sitting under the giant Spanish Lime tree at Blue Heaven, with a mother hen and her brood pecking 'round my feet. Owner, Richard Hatch, greeted us at the door - I saw 10 or 15 locals I knew and my friend visiting from South Africa was totally amazed that such a colorful and casual outdoor setting could deliver a PERFECT Lobster Benedict, fresh squeezed juices and hilarious, FUN service ... this place is very famous, with good reason.
