We have been returning to Key West for over 20 years now and for the last ??? our first stop is always Caroline's Cafe. Their grouper sandwich is incredible and maybe the last value on the island. Enjoy the food and people watch from an outdoor table... there are none indoors!

I eat at Carolines at least 2 times each time I come to Key West. The location is perfect for people watching along Duval, the casual atmosphere dining under the stars makes the meal that much more enjoyable. The last time I was here was in April 2007 and found that the shrimp poorboy sandwich which contained more than a dozen shrimp was more than you would get ordering a shrimp dinner at a restaurant in Key West. The skirt steak is another dish that I found to be very tasty, tender and done to order. The staff is friendly and despite dining alone gave me terrific service. You can't go wrong eating at Carolines.

Just wanted to say, my wife and I had dinner at Carolines. Let me just say it was awesome. For the cost you can't beat it. Plenty of great food not to mention the view over Duval St. Well I will be back for dinner again you can count on it. Take care and we'll see you soon for dinner at Carolines.
