There is one reason Pineapple Willy's is always packed, and that reason is the Jack Daniel's BBQ ribs. $19 for a bucket might seem steep to some, but it's worth it to taste the 8-hour process that goes into cooking them to the point where they effortlessly falling off the bone. A single signature item might not be enough to keep most restaurants afloat, but it's enough for Pineapple Willy's.

We where in Panama City Beach from 8-25 thur-9-5,and we ate at many places, but this place was the WORST....We had the Jackie Daniels Ribs. What a JOKE.They tasted liked they had been reheated for the last to weeks, and the bbq sauce well you have to pay a $1.00 for extra, and the grouper sandwich was not even grouper. My brother inlaw, and sister inlaw KNOW THERE FISH.Beleave me.The only thing was "Good was there pineapple cole slaw" oh ,and there t-shirts.

The food is good. The largest percentage of people who come here do so to try the Jack Daniels BBQ Ribs. These are by far the best item on the menu. They use a special machine to add both heat and pressure to make these ribs literally fall off the bone. Be careful though, the bones also get so soft you wont realize you're munching on them as well. The key lime pie is very good. The prices are a little high but it is a tourist destination. And to their credit Willy's does much to give back to the community. It's definitely worth a try.

Love the new venue Pier Bar ... but spent from 10:30am until 6pm trying to get information on the Big Mike show ... kept getting recording saying "no one available to take call" ... or a busy signal. How hard would it have been to have someone answer the phone or record a message stating Big Mike had been cancelled... had to go there to find out, or was that the general idea????

P. Willies's has always been a great place to eat BBQ Ribs and seafood and drinks on the looooooooooong pier that extens out to the Gulf of Mexico. If you're not hungry, just drop by and grab a T-Shirt and steal a view of the gulf. Now I learned they have a new venue and host blues bands on a regular basis. This place just keeps getting better.

Here's my advice for Pineapple Willy's.. Get the Ribs (repeat that 42 times).. If you have never had their ribs, you can not understand what melt in your mouth goodness is all about. My last time I was out riding the Harley and stopped in... went to the outside area, drank beer, ate ribs, and gazed at the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. What a wonderful place to live.. what a wonderful place to eat... My closing comments: GET THE RIBS!!!

it was really nice. Not a lot to choose from for lunch and a bit more expensive than what we expected, but the ribs were good. Loved eating on the outdoor patio.

We eat here every vacation. Sometimes for lunch sometimes for dinner. It is always great. Some of us eat ribs some of us eat other things off the menu. The food is always great. The kids love drinking virgin daiquiris out of their own Pineapple Willy's mug!! It makes them feel like a big shot! Eat on the pier if weather permits..the view is great.

The food, atmosphere, and service were all great as usual. Although they are usually very busy, they seat you fairly quickly and it is worth the wait. We visit Pineapple Willy's on every trip to PCB.

We love Pineapple Willys, have to go everytime we are at PCB my 5 year old loves to sit at the end of the pier and eat. The baskets are very big and not expensive, we never have to wait over 15 min. when we go at lunch, and I LOVE their Rum Runners... I'll be back again this year.

Had the ribs! So, what is all the fuss about? They were OK but nothing to brag about. A lot of children there seemed to really be enjoying it but they also have a good time at Ronald's place!

Big Dock. Big Drinks. Everything a kid and the grownups with him or her could ask for. This place brings you all that fun, party, beach food you want, you just KNOW YOU want, on a big pier by the beach. You want to tip over with surrender here, and stay until the sun sets and then some, eating and drinking until you're past silly.

Pineapple Willy's was right next door to our condo, so for the first part of our vacation, my fiance and I could smell the food and see the ambience of the pier seating from where we were staying. Finally, we went and experienced it for ourselves. It was a bit breezy that night, but we had the best seat in the house...all the way back on the pier. The food? Absolutely excellent! I had the ribs...and you can't get better from anywhere that I have tasted yet. The service was excellent! And a 32-oz Hurricane to wash it all down with? Can't beat it! Don't forget to stop by the t-shirt shop and get a shirt or stuffed pinapple! :-)

We had a good experience at Pineapples. The wait was not too bad (12 minutes) and we got a great seat on the deck overlooking the beach right at sunset. The seafood salad was great and it seemed neverending. The kids enjoyed their shrimp and the men enjoyed the Prime Rib. The staff was nice, service was speed and the place was clean.

We just ate lunch at Willy's and I def give it 2 thumbs up. Sevice was outstanding. Our waitress was great. Very friendly and helpful. The view was spectacular and is what makes Willy's so cool. We ate outside on the pier. It was overcast, but the water was slick as ice. The calmest I've seen in a long time. Green flags flying... and believe it or not, a COOL BREEZE blowing (thanks to the 'cool' front stalled over us). Shared the ribs with a friend and they were great as usual. We got the pound and a half which has 9-12 ribs in it. For an extra $2 you get double portions of the sides (baked beans, cole lsaw and texas toast). Sharing makes it a little more affordable. About $25 for 2 people and we even had a couple ribs left over. The Mahi BLT sandwich looked really good, too. Great day to eat at Willy's...

Maybe it was an off nite when we were there - but we were not that impressed with the food. I had heard about the ribs and we all got the bucket of ribs. They were okay - but we have had better. I don't like the bones being so easily chewed thru. The service was good and we were seated quicker than I expected. I may try it again and pick another food but if I want ribs on the beach I think I will go to Tony Romas.

You can't go to Panama City without going to Pineapple Willy's for dinner or lunch. You will see so many people walking around town with Pineapple Willy's shirts that you'll know you have to check it out. First off, the view is absolutely fantastic! The outdoor seating is literally right above the beach, so you get to see people parasailing and riding wave runner's. Lots to see while you wait for that delicious frozen drink in the special Pineapple Willy's cup. The food was great and came out fast. They have a phenomenal reuban sandwich with homemade marble rye bread and tender juicy corned beef. MMMMMMMM. This is just a great place to go with a superb atmosphere. Make sure you stop by there on your vacation and grab a scrumptious bite to eat, you will no regret it.
