This is a pretty regular stop for us. Last time we were in I had the mostaciolli. Great prices for Key West without sacrificing fresh/quality food. It's a little tight quarters but hey...that's Key West. We actually prefer the intimate atmosphere. Easy bike ride from anywhere on the island.

My daughter and I ate here in April, 2011 and the food was good. We got there about 6:30 and were immediately seated at a very small table that was set for 2 but should have been for 1 person. I asked if we could move to the 4 seater next to us and was told no because they would be getting busy soon. Nobody was ever seated there the whole time we were there. Also noticed everyone else was asked if they would like to sit in the garden or inside, but we didn't even know they had a garden seating area. Hostess was older lady with gray/blonde hair.

I absolutely love the food. No questions about it. Love it, hands down. One down fall and could be called a freak accident but it still happened. Ordered our meals and when I went to use the black pepper grinder to add some seasoning to my seafood alfredo meal, the pepper grinder glass top broke off in my hands and I ended up with glass in my meal and I slightly cut my finger to where it bled just a tad. My meal was replaced as wuickly as possible but my boyfriends meal was cold by the time mine was redone. My only negative thing I can say is that the restaurant should have offered myself (at least) a free glass of wine, 1/2 off my meal or at least a free dessert. Being a waitress in the past it's the only right thing to do in this scenerio

The Barnes family has done a tremendous job of serving exceptional meals at affordable prices - the portions are large enough to enjoy twice! The kitchen is quite accommodating, as well; I asked to have the Mostaciolli & Broccoli Rabe without the sausage, and it was a vegetarian delight! The wine list is quite extensive as well.

Immediately when you walk in you feel like you are being welcomed home! This is a friendly spot with fresh pasta, veggies and other scrumptious ingredients. The prices are so low, it seems cheaper to eat here than make your own meals at home! Bring the whole family and have a ball.

You might have to wait for a table, but it will be worth it. Elliot Baron, owner, has an incredible wine cellar and the pasta is legendary... eat indoors in the old building or outside in the patio when the weather is lovely. The setting is comfortable and intriguing - the owner is a nut! (smile) A "must do" for Key West and a favorite with locals like me!
