People who fall in love with Key West, fall in love with the “little things” about the island… the little shotgun houses, the narrow little lanes… they tiny jewelbox restaurants and cafes. One of the most charming ‘little’ island restaurants.

The food is excellent. The style of the new location (3 yrs at this location) is very Euro and comfortable. The service is top knotch. It's one of our favorite places for a wonderful dining experience.

One of the finest things in Key West is discovering your own hidden treasures. Now, it may be hard to know HOW to find them since so much is packed onto such a small plot of space. But should you happen down the little lane called Appelrouth, you will discover Martin's and have your little treasure all squared away just like that. Basically, this restaurant is one guy and his name is Martin. He works his butt off and makes sure everything is exactly how it should be. If you go on vacation to enjoy great tastes (diet, begone!) you will love, love, love it here. And don't hold back: order his escargot, his grouper Dijon, his sauerbraten or wiener schnitzel. Dig in deep and remember what it felt like to eat for the sake of pure pleasure, enjoyment and flavor. Martin's also makes a great brunch, with killer eggs Benedict, crepes, the works, with mimosas of course. Lovely canopy of trees, orchids galore and super delightful flavors that bring tasty European flair to local seafoods and classic meat dishes. Yummy. Also, lots of fine German beer on tap, and a divine German wine selection.
